Conformance Status & Standards

Formal compliance with global digital accessibility standards.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

PrivacyScrubber is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. All interactive workflows across the Web Workspace, Chrome Extension popup, and lead portals satisfy the technical criteria established by:

W3C WCAG 2.1
Level AA Conformance
US Section 508
Rehabilitation Act § 1194.22
EU EN 301 549

Technical Accessibility Measures

Specific architectural controls embedded into our HTML/CSS and client engine.

Keyboard Navigation & Focus Trapping

All buttons, sliders, profile switchers, and modals are fully operable via standard keyboard events (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, Esc). Visible 2px outline focus indicators are maintained at all times.

Screen Reader Optimization & ARIA Live

Interactive states utilize aria-live="polite" regions to announce token detection counts, redaction completion, and copy events to screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, ChromeVox) without interrupting ongoing user tasks.

High-Contrast Theme & Typography

Color combinations strictly exceed the 4.5:1 ratio for standard text and 3:1 for graphical UI elements against the dark #030712 canvas. Token pills use semantic borders and high-luminance text to avoid relying solely on color hue for identification.

Motion & Vestibular Sensitivity

We honor operating system accessibility preferences via CSS @media (prefers-reduced-motion: reduce), disabling all pulsating glows, layout transitions, and decorative particle animations for sensitive users.

Accessibility Support & Feedback Channel
